One of the things that a lot of our customers ask us is, ‘What skip size should I choose?’ And the answer largely depends on your own individual needs. Below is an approximate guide of what our domestic and commercial skips can hold:

Most kinds of domestic and commercial waste can go into our skips including metals, plastics, woods, paper and cardboard, debris and brickwork. We are a business designed to deal with large volumes of waste, even from industrial-sized roll-off skips. We can fulfill your needs by getting rid of most of your rubbish in a stress-free way.

As with most skip hire and rubbish removal companies, there are some prohibited waste items that we cannot accept. These include, but are not limited to, things like medical waste, fluorescent bulbs, gas cylinders, plaster board, asbestos, explosives, tyres, chemicals, electrical items, and any kind of hazardous waste.

The length of time you can hire our skips is based around your own personal needs, but usually varies from just a few days up to 14 days. However if you require your skip beyond 2 weeks then that can be arranged on request with our friendly, supportive staff. Your skip will be collected within 48hrs of you calling and booking in your collection. For all skips with local authority permits we will collect on the day your permit expires on sooner if you request.

We require all payments in advance through debit or credit card over the phone. Bank transfer payments can also be arranged if required.

All our skip hire prices include delivery, collection and the disposal of your waste material.

When it comes to pricing, there are a few factors that can determine the hire prices. Of course, the predominant factor we use is the size of the skip, as this is the simplest way of doing it. But there are other factors too, such as where you are based, the volume of waste you are going to require us to get rid of, and whether you have a skip permit or not.
